First Team Debuts

Milestones

Caley Thistle tried hard against this top First Division team but in the end were well beaten.

Dundee pushed from the first minute and Neil McCann blasted over from 8 yards. Mark McRitchie saved well from Britton and Duffy but Dundee's pressure paid off in 30 minutes when Gerry Britton scored from 8 yards.

6 minutes later Wilson Robertson nearly equalised but Alan Dinnie cleared.

Striker Paul Tosh came on as a substitute for Dundee in 60 minutes and he was the lift they needed. He scored in 75 & 82 minutes to secure the match. His first was a right foot effort from the far post and his second followed the blocking of a Neil Duffy shot.
