Milestones

League leaders Forfar came to Inverness after a 4 game unbeaten run but Caley Thistle scored a fine victory.

Forfar 'keeper Arthur made a tremendous save in the second minute from Charlie Christie but 3 minutes later Forfar took the lead from Ian Heddle's looping header.

They nearly made it two in 12 minutes but McRitchie saved Lees' shot.

In 26 minutes Caley Thistle levelled when a Danny MacDonald 20 yard shot crashed off the crossbar and Bennett netted the rebound.

In the second half the home side pressed forward and in 59 minutes Paul McKenzie scored from a Robertson cross.

The points were made safe in 84 minutes when Bennett scored from 8 yards.
