First Team Debuts

Milestones

This draw officially ended the home sides slender promotion hopes. Albion took the lead in 5 minutes - Reilly took a long through pass and fired home an angled drive.

A string of Calder saves denied Albion and late in the first half Christie restored pride to the home side with a low drive clear of Moffat from 15 yards.

In the second half Albions Reilly nearly scored but Calder saved his 20 yard drive. Calder was again the hero 8 minutes later when he blocked a Young effort. Three minutes from time Hercher came close but his downward header was parried by Moffat. In the dying seconds Albion should have snatched it through Young but his fierce drive was brilliantly saved by Calder.
