First Team Debuts

Milestones
Mike Teasdale played his 50th major competitive game for the Club.

An exciting end-to-end cup tie but a disappointing result for the home side.

They started well and took the lead in 12 minutes. A Barry Wilson corner was headed towards the far post by Paul Cherry and Iain Stewart headed it in from close range.

Six minutes later Sean McEntegart equalised with a 10 yard header despite Jim Calder getting a hand to it. The rest of the first half was very even but Hamilton took command in the second half.

Ritchie made it 2-1 in the 74th minute with a drive from 7 yards. The home side fought for an equaliser and in 86 minutes a hopeful lob by Ian MacArthur from 25 yards was tipped over. As the Inverness side tired Ritchie sealed the match close to the final whistle when he drove home from 8 yards.

None.
