Milestones

A decisive and important win for the visitors in front of a record crowd of 5017.

County started well but the Inverness side took control and only the great form of keeper Hutchison stopped a rout.

The opening goal came in 36 minutes when Wilson sent in a low cross from the right and Mclean swept it home from 10 yards. In 43 minutes Wilson made it 2-0 when he hit a powerful shot home from 20 yards after a great move involving Christie and Cherry.

In the second half County tired but the visitors continued strongly. In 62 minutes McLean made it 3-0 with a close range shot after a goalmouth scramble.

As the game drew to an end Ross had a 20 yard shot deflected past and then a header saved after a De Barros corner. This win puts the Inverness side 10 points clear at the top of the Division with a game in hand.
