REPORT - The home side lost to their premier league visitors but not without a fight. Dunfermline came close twice in the opening minutes - in 2 minutes French was through but was well tackled by Richard Hastings and in 6 minutes Les Fridge saved a French lob. At the other end Wayne Addicoat shot past in 13 minutes and in 26 minutes a Mike Teasdale rocket hit the bar.
Dunfermline took control in the second half and scored in 65 minutes when a Bingham shot went in off the post. 12 minutes later it was 2-0 when Curran shot past Fridge from close range. In 80 minutes Hamish French set off on a long solo run and made it 3-0 with an angled shot. Ross Tokely pulled one back 3 minutes later with a 25 yard drive after good work on the right by Iain Stewart.
