First Team Debuts

Milestones

The presentation of the league flag was followed by a hard Second Division baptism.

Livingston came close in the 18th minute when Graham Harvey lobbed Les Fridge but Mike Teasdale hooked clear. In the 20th and 28th minutes excellent Iain MacArthur tackles thwarted Mark Duthie. As the first half drew to a close the home side pressed hard and Ian McCaldon saved well from Iain Stewart and Barry Wilson.

On 47 minutes Tom Graham put Livingston into the lead with a header through a ruck of players after a Kevin McGee corner. A bad injury to Gordon McLeod in the 66th minute unsettled the visitors and the Inverness side began to take advantage.

Wayne Addicoat and Marco De-Barros came close before Brian Thomson grabbed an equaliser in the dying seconds. He took a high Mike Noble pass into the box and sent a low drive past the 'keeper from 15 yards.
