Milestones

Caley Thistle came back from two down at a windy and soggy Brockville to take a share of the points. Falkirk opened the scoring in the 11th minute when Roy McBain tugged Andy Lawrie's jersey and he went down. A penalty was given and Mark Roberts hit it low past Jim Calder. The second in 20 minutes came from a melee after Calder dropped a corner from the right. The defence failed to clear and it eventually fell for Andy Lawrie who struck it past the diving Calder from 6 yards. The second half saw a spirited comeback from the visitors and Dennis Wyness scored a solo goal in 66 minutes with a low shot from 20 yards. There was a lengthy delay soon after that as referee John Fleming was injured and had to be replaced by assisstant Joe Heggie. Calder redeemed himself with an athletic parry from Lawrie's angled chip before Paul Sheerin grabbed an equaliser in 82 minutes. David Bagan passed from the right to Dennis Wyness, he sent the ball across the box, Myles Hogarth punched it away and Paul Sheerin let fly from 8 yards into the roof of the net.
