Milestones

A rather dull match with very few clear chances. Paul Sheerin netted the ball in 6 minutes but there had been a foul on the goalkeeper. Just when extra time seemed inevitable Christie weaved on the left then sent over a cross to the back post and Teasdale was in the right place to head home the winner for Caley Thistle. Not a classic game but a satisfying win for the home side and a second round tie away against Hamilton.
