Inverness Caledonian Thistle are delighted to announce the signing of right winger Luis Longstaff on a 2-year deal.

Luis, 22 years-old, becomes Billy Dodds’ fourth signing of the new season and joins us from Cove Rangers, where he spent last season.

The wide man spent his youth career at Newcastle United and Liverpool. He has represented England at U16 and U17 level.

Longstaff played one game for Liverpool in an EFL Cup match against Aston Villa in December 2019. Earlier that year he was part of the Liverpool team which won the FA Youth Cup, beating Manchester City in a penalty shoot-out.

Luis also had a loan spell at Queen’s Park in season 2021/22, where he played 31 games and scored 4 goals during their League One promotion winning campaign.

He made his debut against Airdrie on 25th July 2023 in a 2-3 League Cup defeat at the Caledonian Stadium.
