REPORT - Caley Thistle produced some great football and won convincingly. Barry Wilson scored the first in 22 minutes when a 20 yard free kick flew in off the underside off the bar. Seven minutes later Iain Stewart made it two when he glanced home a header. A powerful header by Mike Teasdale in 38 minutes and a Stewart lob to the far post in 39 minutes made it 4-0.

A Paul Cherry half-volley in 62 minutes gave the visitors a fifth but a minute later the select scored a consolation through Alasdair Mackenzie - he forced it home after his header was blocked. Teasdale and Cherry grabbed their second goals in 78 and 80 minutes.
