Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Ross Munro on a 1-year deal.
Ross, 25 years-old, is from Nairn and came through the academy at Ross County. Prior to joining Ross County’s academy, Ross was involved in the ICT Academy at Under 11s as a midfielder!
In 2018, Ross signed his first professional contract at Ross County and made his debut in August that year against Hearts Colts in the Scottish Challenge Cup. He played in each round of the Challenge Cup that season, including the final at the Caledonian Stadium against Connah’s Quey which County won 3-1.
While at Ross County, Ross had loan spells with Brora Rangers, Raith Rovers, Cowdenbeath and Annan Athletic.
Ross then joined Dundalk in January 2024, he made 20 appearances in total, keeping 5 clean sheets for the League of Ireland First Division side.
Earlier this year, Ross joined Scottish Championship winners Falkirk on a short term deal until the end of 2024/25.
Upon signing, Ross Munro said: “I’m absolutely buzzing, when I found out the club were interested I was over the moon. It’s a big club with ambitions and there’s a real buzz about the place. I’m really looking forward to getting started.”
