First Team Debuts

Milestones

Two goals in two minutes won the game for Forfar but over 90 minutes the visitors were unlucky not to share the points.

For the first 12 minutes the visitors made all the running and they had three chances. Arthur saved well from Lisle and Noble whilst Bennett had a shot deflected for a corner.

Against the run of play Forfar scored twice through McCormick and Ross in the 13th and 15th minutes.

McAllister pulled one back five minutes later and the visitors came close to equalising through Noble in the 24th minute but Arthur saved his 25 yard drive. McKenzie and Smart were also denied by Arthur before half time.

In the second half the visitors again pressed and were unlucky on two occasions - a Noble drive was deflected by Glennie and a Mitchell free kick was fisted away by Arthur.

In the end Forfar held out to win the match and stay on top of the table.
