Former Dundee United and Aberdeen midfielder Stuart Duff signed for the club until the end of the 2009/10 season. He was a free agent after being released by the Dons so was eligible to sign beyond the signing deadline.
At the end of the 2009/10 season he turned down a contract offer from St Mirren manager Danny Lennon and opted to return to the Highlands for the 2010/11 SPL campaign.
Stuart, who won 10 Under-21 international caps, made 171 appearances for Dundee United, scoring four goals, then 47 appearances for Aberdeen, scoring once.
He was on-loan to Caley Thistle during December 2009 and played in three league games against Raith Rovers, Dunfermline Athletic and Dundee. Made his first app. of this season in the one-each draw with Hibs at Easter Road in September and has played in every SPL match since and has brought a lot of experience to the side..
