Robbie signed for Inverness from Celtic reserves. He had been on loan to Cowdenbeath and Alloa Athletic where he performed well in season 2019/20. His debut came in the Betfred League Cup game at Tynecastle on 6th October 2020. He has played at u17 and u19 level for Scotland scoring a goal at each level. Robbie made his Caley Jags debut at Tynecastle in a 1-0 league cup defeat. He scored his first goal for Inverness in a 2-2 draw against Dundee at the Caledonian Stadium on 12th December 2020.
Robbie established himself at left back before moving in to centre back and has been a rock at the heart of the Inverness defence. Unfortunately Robbie suffered a broken leg near the end of a Championship fixture against Raith Rovers in October 2022, ironically having been the standout player on the park and scored only his second goal for the club with a superb header. He is made of stern stuff though and returned to the squad four months later in late February 2023. He then went on to re-establish himself in the first team squad and will play in the Scottish Cup final against Celtic on June 3rd 2023, his 113th appearance for the Caley Jags with two goals to his credit. His contract will be up thereafter.
Robbie left Inverness after the Scottish Cup Final and has signed for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership. Best of luck to Robbie who has been brilliant during his time here.
