Graduated from the Youth Academy and made his first team squad inclusion on the bench at Dumbarton in the week that Inverness went into administration. Inverness lost 3-1 and Sam remained on the bench in Scott Kellacher's first game in charge. Sam has signed his first pro contract for season 25/26.

Made his first team League1 debut in a 4-0 thrashing of Queen of the South on 22nd November 2025, coming on as a sub in the 82nd minute for Joe Chalmers.

Sam has been loaned out to Brora Rangers from January 23rd 2026 for the remainder of the season.

Sam, now 19, signed his first professional contract last summer and similarly benefited from regular senior football while on loan at Brora Rangers FC last season during their championship-winning season. Sam will also step up into the first team squad.
