Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC are pleased to announce the signing of centre-back Mitchell Robertson on loan from Celtic FC

Robertson, 20 years-old, is the captain of the Celtic B team and signed an extension with the Glasgow side in January this year.

The centre-back has been a mainstay with Celtic B team in recent years, first breaking into Stephen McManus’ side during the 2021/22 campaign.

Featuring as a regular in competitions including the UEFA Youth League and Premier League International Cup, he has gained a number of important experiences within the youth ranks.

The centre-back has also played his part in lifting the Scottish Youth Cup and Glasgow Cup.

Mitchell became a regular starter a couple of months into the season and in January '26 it was announced that he is likely to be joining Livingstone in season 26/27 but seeing out his loan deal at Inverness until the end of this season, his loan now coming from Livi rather than Celtic.

Mitchell made 33 appearances scoring 4 goals at Inverness before moving to Championship rivals Livingston after season 25/26.
