In the first half Caley Thistle outplayed Albion Rovers but the second half was scrappy.
In 11 minutes Albions Gallacher denied Alan Hercher a goal with his hand - Gallacher was sent off and Iain Stewart converted the penalty.
Three minutes later Scott & Mitchell combined to set up Daisy Ross and his powerful shot made it 2-0.
In 21 minutes Hercher headed the ball on to Mitchell who ran through to score from 10 yards. In 24 minutes Albion keeper Osborne failed to hold a Hercher shot and Stewart scored from a tight angle to make it 4-0.
In 29 minutes Mitchell ran through a static defence and made it 5-0. Iain Stewart completed his hat trick after 38 minutes - Ross headed down a Scott corner and Stewart fired home.
Albion scored a consolation goal in 78 minutes when McEwan fired home a 15 yard effort.
