An amazing game which went to a penalty decider and it took 24 penalties to produce a winner. Fort William took the lead in 51 minutes when Cassidy swept a low ball past Ally Ridgers. Neil MacDonald equalised for Caley Thistle in 78 minutes when he converted a cross from substitute Lewis MacKinnon. Fort nearly snatched it with four minutes left when substitute Kelly forced a good save from Ridgers. Extra time produced nothing but Ridgers and MacDonald were the visitors heroes in the shoot-out. MacDonald took two penalties and scored with them both to add to his goal in normal time. Ridgers scored with one penalty and saved three. The final save was enough to secure a place in the North Cup final against Clach.
