Grant has been with the club for 12 years and he made his first appearance in a Scottish Cup 3rd Rd. defeat at the hands of Livingston in Inverness on 2nd January 1999.
Since then he has become one of the most accomplished young players at the club and his enthusiasm for the game and his hard work has certainly paid off as he was made Club Captain in 2007-08. Made his 300th app. for the club in the 5-1 win over Ayr United down at Somerset Park on Sat., 24th October 2009.
Has been joined at the heart of the Caley Thistle defence by the very experienced Ross Tokely and both played an important role in Caley Thistle having 22 cleansheets throughout last season. A player who leads by example and an example to every local young player of what can be achieved in football if you put the work in. A quality centre back who has a great understanding with his fellow defenders and goalkeeper.
