First Team Debuts

Milestones

A precious point but it should have been three. Caley Thistle took the lead in 54 minutes when Paul Sheerin's corner from the left was lost in the sun by Ally Maxwell and he touched it away, Bobby Mann hooked it to Glancy and he volleyed into the net from 6 yards. Morton's Harry Curran was sent off in 72 minutes for a second bookable offence. Caley Thistle could not capitalise on the extra man and Morton equalised in 76 minutes. A Slavin ball from the right to Ferguson was intercepted by Ross Tokely but it fell for Connolly and he hit it low into the corner of the net from 6 yards. The score remained 1-1 and Caley Thistle were disappointed not to have won the game. They remain bottom of Division 1.
