First Team Debuts

Milestones

A second half goal by sub Dennis Wyness was enough to complete four wins over Clydebank this season in front of a record low crowd of 168. Injuries to Jim Calder, Mike Teasdale and Charlie Christie restricted the managers team selection but this gave chances to some of the younger players. The first half produced little until late on when Davide Xausa was denied acrobatically by Colin Scott in the Clydebank goal then again a minute later by the post. The winner came in 64 minutes when Ross Tokely sent in a low cross and Wyness side-footed it into the net from close range. Caley Thistle were well on top and should have scored more goals. This result made relegation a mathematical impossibility.
