Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC are pleased to announce the signings of midfielder Alfie Stewart and striker Alfie Bavidge on loan from Aberdeen FC until the end of the season.

Alfie Bavidge, 18 years-old, has come through the ranks at Pittodrie and got his first loan move last season at Scottish League 1 side Kelty Hearts, where he scored 9 goals across 26 games.

For the first half of the current season, Alfie has been on loan with Ayr United. In December, he scored twice against Falkirk in Ayr’s 5-2 win.

The striker has been capped for Scotland at Under 16s, Under 17s and Under 19s level.

Alfie’s father Martin is a well-known face at the Caledonian Stadium, having played over 120 games for the club.

Alfie Bavidge was returned to Aberdeen early after making a huge impact scoring 6 goals over 10 games. Unfortunately he missed the last 8 games after being injured on the 11th March against Stenhousemuir.

Alfie is back on loan just in time for the start of season 25/26. Head Coach Scott Kellacher said: “I’m delighted to have Alfie back, he was superb last season. That’s what we’re looking for again for him to come back and produce that type of form. Hopefully Alfie can kick on, he’s a great lad, great about the club and it is important we have that type of characters about the place.”

Alfie is back once more on loan from the Dons for the full season. Alfie, 20, is a familiar face at Caley Thistle, having made 58 appearances and scored 27 goals across his previous two loan spells at the club. He returned for the 2025–26 William Hill League 1 title-winning campaign, making 48 appearances and scoring 20 goals across all competitions to finish as the club’s top scorer.
