Roddy MacGregor has come through the youth set-up at Inverness Caledonian Thistle and was one of 10 youth players to turn professional with the club in May 2018. He made his senior debut on 17 November 2018, in a 3–3 league draw away at Queen of the South. Roddy made 20 appearances in 19/20 season but had yet to open his goals account. He scored his first senior goal in a 3-3 draw at Raith Rovers on November 10th 2020. His first Championship goal was a screamer against Queen of the South at Palmerston on 4th December 2020.
Roddy came on as a sub in the 22/23 Scottish Cup Final against Celtic after a succession of injuries ruined his season.
Having been shunned by Big Dunc and caught up in Fergusongate and our financial and physical demise, Roddy, after being ignored for half a season has had to go elsewhere to continue his career. Roddy has signed for Queens Park on a 2 year deal. Good luck Roddy, go forth and flourish.
