Inverness Caledonian Thistle are delighted to announce the signing of Jake Davidson on a 2-year deal. Jake, 22 years-old, is a right back and signs from Queen’s Park, where he made 44 appearances last season for the Spiders.
Jake was an academy graduate at Dundee United academy and has had loan spells at Spartans, Queen’s Park, Waterford and Arbroath. He joined Queen’s Park permanently from Dundee United at the start of 2021/22.
He is contracted at Inverness until June 2025.
Jake has gone on loan to Hamilton Accies for the remainder of the season from February 1st 2024
Jake is back for our season of turmoil in League 1 for 2024/2025. Unfortunately Jake missed most of the season through injury.
He has been given a contract until January 2026 as he continues his re-hab on his knee injury.
Jake has now extended his contract until the end of the season.
Jake, 25 years-old, has been working hard on his recovery after suffering a knee injury in November 2024. The defender had initially signed a deal until January 2026 last summer, but has now extended his terms until the end of the 2025/26 season.
He returned to action last Friday, playing 45 minutes for our Under 19s side in their 1–0 win against Dundee.
Upon signing his contract extension, Jake said: “I’m delighted to have things finalised and to sign until the end of the season. It’s been a long road for me, but I was glad to make my return last Friday and play my first game of football in over a year.”
Jake has been loaned out to Spartans for the remainder of this season (25/26).
Jakes contract expired at the end of season 25/26. He joined the club in the summer of 2023 from Queen’s Park FC. In total, Jake made 38 appearances and scored twice for the club.
Jake had loan spells at Hamilton Academical and The Spartans during his time at the club, with the latter spell seeing him return to competitive football following the serious knee injury he suffered in November 2024.
