First Team Debuts

Milestones

A bad day for Caley Thistle - not only were they soundly beaten but key player Wilson Robertson was badly injured after a tackle from Petrie.

Cowdenbeath went ahead in the third minute - a cross from Murdoch was headed in by Winter. Charlie Christie nearly equalised in the 8th minute but Russell saved well.

In 28 minutes Paul McKenzie shot past the post for the home side and in 42 minutes Norman MacMillan also came close but he was tackled at the last minute by Malloy.

In the second half Cowdenbeath sealed the game with two Yardley goals. The first came from the penalty spot after 59 minutes and the second in 72 minutes when he slotted the ball past McRitchie after a long through ball.
