Milestones

No goals but an exciting match. In 19 minutes Brechin's Balfour saved from Hastings and in 31 minutes Stewart shot past the post.

At the other end, Calder turned a McKellar shot past the post. In 51 minutes Calder saved well from McNeill and in 60 minutes Hercher had a goal chalked off.

There was great activity in the closing minutes when Ross came close for Caley Thistle and Brechin's Scott was sent off for elbowing McGinlay.

A minute from the end Caley Thistle had the best move of the game - a great flick from Christie set up Scott but his thundering 20 yard shot was brilliantly saved by Balfour.
