First Team Debuts

Milestones

Caley Thistle had a number of early chances to take the initiative but in the end they were well beaten.

Caley Thistle started well and an 8 yard drive from Charlie Christie was tipped away by McMillan. In the 22nd minute County took the lead. A Golabek pass found MacPherson but he appeared to push the ball too far ahead - Calder came off his line to clear but the ball rebounded off MacPherson and trickled over the line.

County then took control and just before half-time an excellent reflex save by Calder prevented a second goal. In the 58th minute half County increased their lead when MacPherson scored with a header. The visitors fought back but failed to score and their 8 game unbeaten run came to an end.
