Milestones
Caley Thistle were well beaten by a very good Livingston side which included ex-Inverness favourites Mark McCulloch and Barry Wilson. Livingston took the lead in 24 minutes when Scott Crabbe's low corner was cleared only as far as Paul Deas and he lashed the ball home from 40 yards. Jamie Dolan hit the bar then Bobby Mann was adjudged to have brought down Wilson in the box. Les Fridge saved Scott Crabbe's penalty. Five minutes into the second half Martin Bavidge was denied by a superb reflex action save from Neil Alexander. A minute later it was 2-0 when Scotte Crabbe side-footed the ball past Fridge from the penalty spot after good build-up play from Wilson on the right. With 15 minutes left Alexander failed to hold a low cross and Iain Stewart nipped in to score. This spurred on the visitors but they could not find the finishing touch to equalise. The match was settled four minutes from time when Wilson pounced on a mistake by Fridge and prodded the ball home.
