Milestones

Injuries once more had Steve Paterson struggling to assemble a squad of 16. Caley Thistle went ahead early but in the end just held on for a draw after playing the whole second half with ten men. They took the lead in 6 minutes when Martin Bavidge crossed from the right to the unmarked Denis Wyness who shot low into the net from 14 yards. They again came close in 17 minutes when Charlie Christie passed to well-placed Bavidge but Halliwell scooped the ball to safety. Six minutes later Jamie Mitchell's shot at the other end was pushed over the bar by Jim Calder. Just before half time Bavidge barged into Darren Murray and was shown a red card. Caley Thistle deserved their first half lead but had to face a second half with only 10 men. They were forced on the defensive and Clyde fought to take advantage. Calder twice denied Mitchell before he equalised in the 73rd minute with a looping header from 8 yards out. There were other scares but the visitors survived to take a point.
