Ryan signed for Inverness in 2011 having been in our junior and youth teams since he was 10. Terry Butcher was his first manager at Inverness. Ryan is the son of Charlie Christie the former Inverness player and Manager. He won the Scottish Cup with Inverness in 2015. In September of that year he signed for Celtic but was loaned back to Inverness. He went on loan to Aberdeen in 2017. He joined Bournemouth in 2021.
