First Team Debuts

Milestones

In the first half the home side played good football but could not break down the Cowdenbeath defence.

In 42 minutes Teasdale earned a penalty but Stewarts effort was saved. Two minutes later Cowdenbeath scored against the run of play when Bowmaker slipped the ball past Calder.

In 54 minutes Teasdale was again tripped in the box and Thomson gave Russell no chance. Conn and Wood scored for Forfar in 65 and 80 minutes - both from free kicks. Three minutes from time the home side were initially awarded a third penalty when Christie was brought down but instead Cherry was dismissed for an off the ball incident. A dismal end to a dismal game for the Inverness side.
