Milestones

The home side played excellent football in the first half but had only one goal to show for it - a close range finish from Iain Stewart after Bruce had parried a Thomson free kick.

Queens came back well in the second half and Ross Caven equalised in 52 minutes with a powerful header. In 75 minutes Charlie Christie rounded Bruce and netted from a difficult angle to make it 2-1. The home fans thought the points were safe as their team pressed for a third goal but in a breakaway attack Queens equalised again - a superb volley from 20 yards by Gary Orr.
