Milestones

Despite the date there were no fireworks at Broadwood. Barry Wilson tested Allan Morrison in the early stages with a 30 yard drive then Steve Hislop shot wide of the post. Alan Kernaghan escaped with a yellow card in 17 minutes when he scythed Hislop close to the box. Morrison saved David Bingham's free kick. Pat Keogh took a Jack Ross pass in 20 minutes but spooned over the bar. Mark Brown smothered a Keogh shot then Richie Hart shot wide.

Half Time: 0-0

Into the second half and a Wilson shot was deflected wide then Clyde's Steve McConalogue fired over the bar with the goal at his mercy. On the hour mark McConalogue scored the only goal of the game when he intercepted a poor clearance and volleyed past Brown despite the keeper getting both hands to the ball. Ten minutes later Mark McLaughlin nearly made it two but his header from a Ross corner came off the post. Darran Thomson almost snatched an equaliser when a dipping shot crept over. Late Clyde substitutions wasted time and they took all three points.

Full Time: 1-0

Caley Thistle slipped to sixth, three points behind leaders Queen of the South.
