First Team Debuts

Milestones
Charlie Christie reached 30 goals for the Club.

A convincing win but the score could have been higher. ICT took the lead in the 7th minute when David Bagan ran strongly through the middle and hit a low ball past Broto. In 15 minutes Paul Sheerin challenged Broto and he completely missed a kick-out. The goal was vacant but Sheerin could not capitalise as he tumbled to the ground. Martin Prest should have equalised in 24 minutes but he missed an open goal with Jim Calder stranded. The home side pressed for most of the half but the second goal did not come until the 42nd minute. Charlie Christie strode through the defence, played a one-two with Davide Xausa then flicked it over the advancing Broto. With seconds of the half left Prest again missed a golden chance when he hit it past with Calder out of position and the goal unattended. Three minutes into the second half Teasdale was brought down by Broto but the keeper dived low to his left to save Sheerin's penalty. It was 3-0 in 62 minutes when Xausa took on two defenders on the right, cut inside then hit a low left-footed shot into the corner of the net. The pressure continued on Broto's goal and in 72 minutes it was 4-0. Christie sent a low ball through the middle for Dennis Wyness who side-footed it first time into the net. Martin Bavidge was in on Broto in 83 minutes but the keeper saved twice and a minute later Bavidge hit over the bar.
