Caley Thistle were well on top in this game and could have scored more. Barry Wilson scored the first with an angled shot, the keeper helped it on its way with his foot. Wilson was credited with the goal but Davide Xausa helped it over the line. The second goal came after good work by Martin Bavidge on the right as he crossed it under pressure and Davide Xausa headed past Paul Gallacher. Airdrie offered very little and Les Fridge had an easy day.
