Milestones

Driving rain and a howling gale made this game a lottery but the quality of football was good in the circumstances. ICT had wind advantage in the first half but could not score. Ayr took the lead through a Roddy Grant volley from 12 yards in 52 minutes but Caley Thistle deservedly equalised with 10 minutes left, a close range Charlie Christie shot through the keepers legs. The home side pressed for a winner but in the end a draw was about right.
