Milestones

This game survived Scotland-wide snow and Raith took the points. Raith took an early lead through Mark Roberts but this was cancelled by a Paul Sheerin penalty in 14 minutes. Two Alex Burns goals in the 38th & 39th minutes seemed to set the scene for a rout but a superb header by Martin Bavidge in the 42nd minute made it 3-2. In the 73rd minute Les Fridge fumbled a Paul Browne close range shot and Browne stepped in to finish the job. There was no way back for the visitors from 4-2.
