Milestones
After the excitement of the last 2 weeks this was rather a pedestrian affair.
Charlie Christie celebrated his 100th senior appearance by instigating two of the goals - he was very unlucky not to get on the score sheet. In 35 minutes Iain Stewart had a golden chance when he was clean through but he hit past the keeper and the post.
In the dying seconds of the first half a strong Mike Teasdale run and shot deflected to Charlie Christie - his close range shot was well parried by McDougall but Iain Stewart was on hand to head home.
In 67 minutes the home sides best chance was scorned by Sneddon - from 10 yards he volleyed against the bar. In 70 minutes an attempted back pass to McDougall was intercepted by Daisy Ross - the keeper pushed away his first attempt but Ross made no mistake from the rebound.
3 minutes from time a good run by Wayne Addicoat set up a Charlie Christie shot -McDougall parried and Brian Thomson touched it home. A well deserved win but a below average game.
