Hamilton hadn't scored in the SPL for 9 1/2 hours, they ended that run 17 minutes into this game when James Gibson put them ahead with his first goal of the season.
Filipe Morais had the best chance for the home side in a tepid first half ICT performance when he got a chance just before the break but his lob went agonisingly over the bar.
ICT were better in the second half and this time it was Hamilton who paid the price. They time-wasted and sat back for much of the half and three minutes from the end Brian Kerr scored his first for the club from a Tokely ball meaning the points were shared.
from site: We were simply dreadful today and didn't deserve anything from the game.
The ref was incompetent at best and Hamilton started time wasting in the first half but that doesn't excuse the p**h we were served up :rotflmao:
Questions have to be asked over Butchers selection of players. I doubt even clueless Craig could have come up with such a bizarre notion as playing Duncan on the right!!!! Mind boggling really and surprise, surprise it didn't work.
Black, Esson & Tokley are about the only players who can hold their heads high after that display. I thought Imrie, Proctor, Morais & especially Foran were rank rotten.
The end of the season can't come soon enough for me as I can't stomach watching c**p like that week in week out.

Its more of a point gained as we didn't look like we were capable of scoring in the second half.
The Kerr goal was scrappy but hugely important and the first time in months I felt like hugging everyone around me.
Although we played badly in the first we were unlucky not to win looking back over the whole game. We had Blackies shot just over, Morais through on goal and Dougie missing a sitter in the 2nd. Hamilton had their free-kick (which should have been defended better) and one chance on the edge of our box saved by the impressive Esson.
Saw the importance of Roscoe in todays match. When the fans were quiet the only man you could hear shouting on the park was Tokely, telling everyone else to pick up their game. He showed passion and commitment, give that man the armband.
Could turn out to be a BIG point. Hamilton are another team who has a strange hold over us, maybe because of their disgraceful tactics, so a point was a good result. Now we have 5 games left, if we win 2 of those we are safe.
and finally tm4tj was not happy:
Utter utter garbage by us, in fact in the first half we were outplayed by Accies and they deserved to be one up. They scored from a free kick off the training ground, missing out the shot and the cross ball, but playing it wide on the deck and a simple rifle into the bottom of the net found us wanting. Morais should have equalised but had all home supporters crushing their brains as he lofted an easy chance over the bar.
Well. Butcher must have said something in the dressing room. He kept them in for ages, in fact, we wondered if he was going to let them out to play in the second half. The paint must have been dripping off the walls for we saw a different ICT in the second half. Not fantastic, but at least we were trying to attack. Now, I can't help thinking that Terry must shoulder the blame for the first half performance, because we were superior to Accies in the second half and deservedly equalised, albeit a slightly deflected shot from Kerr, which eluded the outstretched Cerny. Still, our second half endeavour merited this but despite Accies persistent time wasting and the added five or six minutes we could not force a winner.
Overall.........a very disappointing first half which saw us give Accies the upper hand, but an improved second half which gave us little comfort, considering the garbage which went before it although we deserved the point.
I believe we will hear Terry come out with the usual fantastic PR we know he has in his repertoire, but to be honest Terry, what the fans want to see on the park is a bit of flair and some goals and some passion, otherwise, we might as well be watching a Brewster selected team and tactical implosion.
