William Dodds is a Scottish professional football coach and former player who is currently the manager of Inverness Caledonian Thistle. His playing career started with English club Chelsea and the rest of his career was spent in Scotland with Partick Thistle, Dundee, St Johnstone, Aberdeen, Dundee United and Rangers.

As a coach, he has held Assistant Manager positions at Dundee United, Queen of the South, Dundee, and Ross County where Billy won the Scottish League Cup and has also reached two Scottish Cup finals.

As a player, Billy won the SPL, Scottish Cup and League Cup during his time with Rangers. He won the League Cup while playing for Aberdeen and the First Division and Challenge Cup while at Dundee. He made 27 appearances for Scotland scoring 7 goals and has a career total of 192 goals from 547 appearances.

He assisted Neil McCann with coaching Inverness CT at the end of season 2020-2021 while John Robertson was on compassionate leave. He was appointed Head Coach on 1st June 2021 in time for the new season with John Robertson being offered the new position of Sporting Director.
