John 'Yogi' Hughes will have a place in ICT history forever as the man who brought both the Scottish Cup and European football to Inverness. Fans are divided about how his tenure ended but its hard to argue about the success during his time in charge.
Hughes was appointed in December 2013 after Terry Butcher left and soon after found himself in a league cup final. We lost on penalties to Aberdeen but this would only be a warm-up for the following year's Scottish Cup which we won for the first time in club history and also our highest ever league finish that saw us qualify for the Europa League. He would win both the PFA and SWFA manager of the year awards in 2015.
Season 2015/16 was less eventful that the previous one but it did see European Football in Inverness for the first time ever. Towards the end of this season, his relationship with the club soured and he left at the end of the 2015/2016 season.
