Milestones

Buddy Hell:

Inverness suffered a league cup hangover in Paisley, going down 2-1 to St Mirren as danger men Esmael Goncalves and Steven Thompson scored the goals to keep the Buddies good form going. Billy McKay converted a penalty but despite plenty of good possession, Inverness could not make the breakthrough and were caught by a late Thompson header which kept all three points in Paisley, 2-1 the final score.

It's not been the best week so far for Inverness, out of the league cup on Saturday, losing to St Mirren on Wednesday and this weekend another tough game with a cup visit to Kilmarnock to deal with. The joys of challenging for trophies.

Terry Butcher once more bemoaned some missed chances for the second game in a row, but at least we are creating opportunities, we just have to start taking them again.
