Milestones

This tie finally went ahead after two postponements and many miles of abortive travel from Inverness.

Stranraer enjoyed more possession in the first half but missed a series of chances. The main culprit was McIntyre but Docherty, Lansdowne & Crawford also failed to find the target when well placed.

In the fourth minute Jim Calder made the save of the match when he denied McIntyre with a spectacular dive to his right.

In 57 minutes Christie chipped a delightful ball over the home defence for Stewart but he headed wide. Three minutes later a powerful run from Teasdale provided a chance for McLean but his fine effort drifted over the bar.

Two minutes later McLean made amends when he netted with a shot from 23 yards. Stranraer equalised in 75 minutes when Young netted with a fine header.
