Milestones

A near-gale force wind made good football difficult. The home side took the lead in 14 minutes with a Stewart header after a Wilson free kick. Two minutes later Wilson slipped the ball past the keeper from 10 yards to make it 2-0.

The visitors hit back just before half time when Inglis scored from close range after a long cross was held up by the wind. McBride equalised just after half time with a blistering shot from 20 yards.

McLean scored the winner in 72 minutes when he took a pass from Christie and swept it home from close range. Stewart nearly scored a fourth in 83 minutes when he chipped the keeper only to see it run past the post.

This was the home sides 9th successive league win and keeps them 7 points clear at the top of the Division with a game in hand.
