First Team Debuts

Milestones

High winds made it difficult for both sides in this top-of-table clash. The first half was very even. In the first minute Barry Wilson had to head off the line and in the 10th minute Forfars Alan Morgan hit the bar from 25 yards.

At the other end Scott McLean came close twice then a Paul Cherry header hit the bar.

5 minutes into the second half Forfar took the lead - Bobby Mann prodded it into the net after the home side had failed to clear their lines following a corner.

The Inverness side hit back and had several chances - the best was in 73 minutes when a Scott Mclean shot from 18 yards was diverted for a corner. With 6 minutes to go Mike Teasdale sent a drive across goal from the right and Iain Stewart touched it in for the equaliser.

The last few minutes were hectic especially when Forfar were awarded an indirect free kick 6 yards out after an infringement by Jim Calder. 10 home players packed the goal and Paul Cherry cleared the danger. In the end a draw was a fair result. The Inverness side are now 11 points clear at the top of the Division.
