First Team Debuts

Milestones

A great home victory despite two hard cup ties earlier in the week. They dominated from the start and had early chances through Wilson and McLean.

In 28 minutes Hercher headed home after a chip from Stewart. Three minutes later Wilson passed to McLean who scored from a difficult angle. Arbroaths Grant forced a good save from Calder just before the interval.

In 57 minutes Stewart rounded Arthur only to see his shot chested away by Ward. A minute later Teasdale drove the ball across goal and Hercher swept it home.

Arbroath gained a consolation in 79 minutes when Grant scored from 6 yards. Two minutes later Ross made it 4-1 with a low shot from 10 yards after superb work by Stewart.
