First Team Debuts

Milestones

Caley Thistle opened well but were denied by Gordon Arthur saves from Martin Lisle and John MacDonald.

Forfar hit back and Bingham headed home from a McPhee cross. Forfar began to dominate but Caley Thistle held out and Charlie Christie nearly equalised in 37 minutes - Arthur again pulled off a fine save.

Early in the second half Forfar came close but Jim Calder saved well from Morgan. In 62 minutes Dave Brennan was sent off following a challenge on McCormick.

In 72 minutes the home side equalised after a superb John Scott goal - he picked up the ball inside his own half, waltzed through the Forfar defence, rounded the 'keeper and slotted the ball home. Forfar had a goal chalked off a few minutes later.
