Milestones
Dougie Green scored his first goal for the Club.

Caley Thistle's long wait for their first victory of the season is now over.

Iain Stewart put them ahead with a 25th minute penalty - a soft one after Green was fouled by Dominic Callan. Queen's fought back and just before half time Jim Calder pulled off a great save from Kevin McGoldrick.

In the second half the home side faded and Queen's Park equalised in 61 minutes - Scott Edgar headed home after good work by Brodie and McGoldrick.

In 75 minutes Caley Thistle came close when an Iain Stewart volley went over the bar. In 83 minutes the visitors had a golden chance to win the match but Paul Ferguson blasted the ball over the bar from close range.

In 84 minutes it was Caley Thistle who took the lead - Iain Stewart chipped the ball over the 'keeper, it came off the post and Dougie Green scored from the rebound.

4 minutes later Charlie Christie prised open the defence, released it to Stewart who squared it to Alan Hercher - despite being off balance Hercher blasted the ball into the net to make it 3-1 for the home side.
