First Team Debuts

Milestones
John Scott played his 50th major competitive game for the Club.

The kick off was delayed 10 minutes as fans queued for vouchers to obtain tickets for the Rangers cup tie.

The games only goal came in 18 minutes when Daisy Ross turned a Sorbie header past Jim Calder. This was a poor display by the home side and they failed to penetrate a Brechin defence which has the best record in the Scottish League.

The first half was largely a midfield battle and both goalkeepers had an easy time. The Inverness side showed more promise in the second half and could have scored through Daisy Ross but his header was turned past the post by Allan.

Brechin nearly snatched a second goal in the dying seconds - the home defence cleared the danger after a goalmouth scramble
